OUR LEADERSHIP

Joshua Bell - Pastor/Elder

Joshua became the Pastor of Coldharbour Church in April of 2021. He and his wife, Ashley, have been married for 20 years and have three children, Evan, Audrey, and Daphne. They are originally from the state of Arkansas in the U.S. Joshua has served in pastoral ministry for over 20 years. He and his family moved to the U.K. in 2018. They love living here and are excited to see what God will do on the Coldharbour Estate.

Phil Endersby - Elder

Phil first attended the church at the age of 2 months when his dad was appointed as pastor in 1961. He and his wife Jenny have 4 daughters, one son-in-law, 2 granddaughters and 2 trailer tents. Phil’s regular work is pastoral care in a group of nursing homes and he also assesses the competence of laboratories. He loves the bits of the Bible which describe Jesus, where you can sense that the writer can barely contain their amazement - Colossians 1v15-20 probably tops the chart at the moment. Phil also serves as our Church Secretary and oversees lots of practical stuff that goes on in the background of church life and also tinkers with the audio-visual equipment.

Ken Cutting - Elder

Ken and Helen have both been following Jesus since their early to mid-teens. They share a birthday, so could be mistaken for twins (though Ken is a few hours older and they were born 365 miles apart!).  Both trained as physiotherapists and have worked for the National Health Service for over 30 years in a number of different roles. They have 3 grown-up children, who are serving the Lord with the gifts he has given them in local churches in different parts of the world and 3 very special grandchildren! They have been members at Coldharbour for more than 20 years and have a heart for both children and older people, leading “Special Branch” (the weekly kids club), as well as heading up 2 of the midweek bible study groups.

David Bowden - Elder

David has been attending Coldharbour since the mid 70s, with a break of ten years during his studies and whilst living and working abroad. It was during this time that he met his wife, Nadège, who is from France, and the newly married couple returned to the UK and Coldharbour 30 years ago. They now have 3 adult daughters, Chloe, Melody, and Juliet. David is a part-time teacher of French and German in a secondary school in Orpington.  He leads a mid-week study group and heads up the Sunday children’s ministry team. Nadège was a French language assistant in a secondary school for many years. She is part of the team organising the ministry amongst the ladies of the church. When possible both David and Nadège also support the Parent and Toddler group.
